General Rules & Regulations

  • Dance studios may enter as many entries as they wish, however studios will only be allowed to enter the equivalent amount of solo’s as duo/trio and/or group entries.  If more space is available solo’s can be added on a first come first served basis.  Ie. If a studio enters 50 routines of a combination of duos, trios and groups they are allotted 50 solo entries. 

  • Schedules will be sent to each studio prior to the competition date. Changes to the program will not be permitted one month prior to the competition. Centre Stage Dance Challenge shall not be held responsible for misprints, errors or omissions in the program. Centre Stage Dance Challenge will make every effort possible to produce the best final program possible.

  • Once final schedules have been sent to confirmed studios, changes must be submitted within 48 hours. Any changes made after the allotted 48 hours are subject to $10 per change.

  • Absolutely no photography or videotaping will be permitted during performances. Any person found taking pictures or videotaping may be asked by Centre Stage Dance Challenge staff to delete them. Pictures and videos will be available for purchase on-site.

  • Under certain circumstances, Centre Stage Dance Challenge may need to increase, decrease or cancel days of the competition.

  • Centre Stage Dance Challenge has the right to cancel any event. 

  • The judges’ decisions are FINAL and NON-NEGOTIABLE.  Every effort has been made by Centre Stage Dance Challenge to ensure a fair judging and scoring process.  

  • Please be advised that each studio will be held responsible for any damages to their change room. 

  • Any personal belongings left behind at the competition will not be the responsibility of Centre Stage Dance Challenge.

  • Absolutely NO FOOD or DRINKS will be permitted in the theatre.
